Cosmetology is a 1600 clocked hour course, as required by the State of California to apply for the license examination. The program consists of
theory, practical training and technical instruction including all practices of cosmetology, including training in courtesy and professional attitude in
working with the public. Performing work on a variety of people each day, you will be assisting them with shampoo and cut, perm, color and styling,
manicures, pedicures, facials, and waxing.
As of the most recent reporting period, we have a 100% Pass rate at State Board for the Cosmetology Course.

ENROLLMENT REQUIRMENTS:

Prerequisites for admission include:
1. High School diploma/Transcripts or GED **Students not having a Diploma or G.E.D. must have completed the 10th grade AND have passed an
Ability to Benefit exam at Copper Mountain College.
2. All Students no matter their previous education must take a Placement Exam at Copper Mountain College and must meet the Elite Cosmetology
School required scores.
3. Photo ID
4. Social Security Card or proof of Eligible non-citizen status

Enrollment Process:
1. Take a tour of the School/Orientation
2. If applying for Financial Aid; an appointment with our Financial Aid Administrator will be necessary.
3. Review a copy of our School Catalog >>>.
4. Take the Placement Exam at Copper Mountain College
5. Complete and return the Admission Application with a $75.00 (non-refundable) Registration Fee
6. Complete an Admissions Interview with the School Director
7. Arrange for all Financial Requirements
8. Complete the Enrollment Agreement

Once issued/opened, the books and supplies are not returnable due to sanitary considerations. The Registration fee is not refundable.

NOTE: Length of course duration will vary in accordance to the number of hours the student is scheduled to attend on a weekly basis as stated on
the enrollment agreement. However; during the 2010/2011 Award year a Full-time student scheduled to attend 35 hours per week could expect to
graduate within 11.5 months.

Below you will find the Gainful Employment Disclosures as required by the Department of Education; *All Calculations reflect the
2010/2011 Award Year.
NOTE: On-time completion is defined by the U.S. Department of Education as anyone who graduates within the normal completion time. When a
student completes their graduation requirements, including all theory and practical assignments, and the required number of clock hours contracted
for within their original contracted graduation date, that student is considered to have graduated on-time. If a student delays their graduation for any
reason, such as family responsibilities, day care issues, and other life events, which causes them to graduate after their original contract end date
they are not considered an on-time graduate. Please note that our graduation rates that are provided in the school catalog are based on how many
students started the program and how many completed within the reporting period.
On-Time Completion Rate - 33%

· Number of students who completed the program during the 10/11 Award Year within in the “normal time” - 2

Placement Rate: 80%
Elite Cosmetology School is accredited by NACCAS and uses its calculation for student placement based on each program offered. NACCAS shows
that for the most recent annual reporting period (2010 Calendar Year) that the Cosmetology program has a Job Placement rate of- 100%

The Placement Rate for students who completed the Cosmetology Course within the 2010/2011 award year, who are eligible for
employment and are placed in field they trained for is 80%

The Median Loan debt incurred by all Cosmetology students who completed or withdrew during the 10/11 award year.
· Title IV Loan Debt (Student Loans) - $0.00 - There was no Title IV Loan Debt incurred by Cosmetology Students who completed
during the 10/11 Award year.
· Private Educational Loan debt - $0.00 - (Elite Cosmetology School has no knowledge of students acquiring Private Educational
Loans to cover school costs, during this award year.)
Institutional Finance Plans - Loan Debt - $2341.03 (Elite Cosmetology School does not offer Institutional Financing that would leave a
student with a balance AFTER they complete the course.) *The amount reported for institutional financing plans is the amount owed by
the student as of the day the student withdrew from the GE program.
